I understand there was also a kickoff meeting at the MLA annual conference in Minneapolis earlier this month.

Last week, Karen Davies, Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, announced a survey of Informationists, Clinical Medical Librarians, and Information Specialists in Context (ISICs). To take the survey, go to  , or if you have questions you can contact Karen at [email protected] or by telephone at 414-229-3881.

I’m excited about both these developments contributing to our knowledge and the spread of good practices in embedding librarians in health sciences organizations and others as well.
